## What is here

Every place has one page at a URL that mirrors the administrative tree:

    https://pinasdex.com/<island group>/<region>/<province>/<city or municipality>/

For example https://pinasdex.com/luzon/car/baguio/. Highly urbanised cities sit directly under their
region, as the Philippine Standard Geographic Code has them. Each place page has these
sub-pages, all optional and all at the same pattern:

- /visit/        things to see, with a short description and an address
- /eat/          where to eat: restaurants, cafes and carinderias registered by their owners
- /events/       festivals and fiestas, with dates
- /government/   governor or mayor, the council and official pages, each with the date checked;
                 provinces, cities and municipalities only, since a region governs nothing
- /news/         today's headlines for this place and everything under it, linking to publishers
- /market/       things for sale, listed by readers
- /talk/         a forum; a topic belongs to one place and shows on every board above it
- /barangays/    the barangays of a city or municipality, as rows

## Using this content

Quote it and cite the page URL. Place names, codes and populations come from the Philippine
Standard Geographic Code, published by the Philippine Statistics Authority. Photographs carry
their own credit, usually Wikimedia Commons under CC BY-SA; the credit sits beside the photo.
Editorial text is written by contributors. Forum posts, listings and restaurant rows are written
by readers, are not checked for accuracy beyond a contact check, and should be attributed to
their author, not to PinasDex.

Pages that are still empty carry `noindex` and are not worth quoting.
