- Something on the site is wrong or abusive
- Use the Report link on the thing itself. It sits under every topic, reply, listing, job and profile, and asks what is wrong. That is the only route that reaches the moderation queue.
- A fact about a place is wrong
- Open a topic on that place's own board and say what is wrong. The people who live there read it, and an editor fixes the page from the thread. Find the town with the box at the top of any page.
- You own a restaurant and want its page
- Register it yourself from the Eat tab of your town. You keep the menu, the photos and the hours, and a moderator checks it once before it goes live.
- You are a news outlet and want your feed carried
- Send the feed URL and the name you want credited. Headlines link back to you and the article stays on your site.
For anything the rows above do not cover: a takedown, a licensing question, a press question, or a bug that stops you using the site.
What we cannot do
We do not hold money, so we cannot refund a sale, recover a deposit or settle a dispute between a buyer and a seller. We do not pass on anyone's contact details. We cannot confirm whether a listing or an employer is genuine, which is why meeting in public and paying on collection is the advice on every Market page.
