Church
Dasmariñas Church
The first parish church of the city, built in stone soon after Dasmariñas became a separate parish in 1866. The church and its convent saw bloodshed during the Battle of Perez Dasmariñas, in the revolution against Spain.
Queen Isabella II signed the royal order that created the parish on October 21, 1866. Builders started the church the year after, on the town plaza at the centre of the new town. The National Historical Institute put a marker on the building in 1986. Inside is the crowned image of the Immaculate Conception, the patroness of the city.
