Subangan Museum
The provincial museum of Davao Oriental, with exhibits about the province. Its full name is the Subangan Davao Oriental Provincial Museum.
The centrepiece is Davor, the skeleton of a sperm whale 16.15 metres long that beached in Governor Generoso. It is said to be the largest such skeleton in the country. Three sections cover the natural, cultural and historical heritage of the province, with the Mandaya and Kalagan people among them, and a memorial remembers the people killed by Typhoon Bopha (Pablo) in 2012. The two-storey building opened in January 2014 at the Provincial Tourism Complex in barangay Datu Martin Marundan.
