Pepe Diokno
Jose Lorenzo "Pepe" Aromin Diokno III is a Filipino film director, producer, and screenwriter. He received the Lion of the Future Award for Best Debut Film and the Orizzonti Prize at the 2009 Venice Film Festival, and was awarded Best Director at the 2023 Metro Manila Film Festival.
Si Pepe Diokno, ipinanganak bilang Jose Lorenzo Diokno noong 13 Agosto 1987, ay isang direktor ng mga pelikula, produsyer, manunulat, at isang estudyente ng kursong film sa Unibersidad ng Pilipinas. Kilala siya sa pagkakapanalo ng Orizzonti Prize at Luigi de Laurentiis sa Venice Film Festival nitong 2009 gamit ang kanyang pelikulang pinamagatang Engkwentro, at lahat ng ito ay kanyang naatim sa murang edad na 22. Siya ang tinaguriang pinakabatang nanalo sa Venice Biennale, ang pinakalumang film festival sa mundo.
