Wesley So
Wesley Barbossa So is a Filipino and American chess grandmaster. He is a three-time Philippine Chess Champion, reigning four-time U.S. Chess Champion, and the first World Fischer Random Chess Champion. On the March 2017 FIDE rating list, he was ranked number two in the world and had an Elo rating of 2822, making him the fifth-highest-rated player in history.
Si Wesley So ay isang Pilipinong tituladong-Grandmaster na manlalaro ng ahedres. Nakuha niya ang titulong iyon sa edad na 14 taon, 1 buwan at 28 araw. Iyon ang naglagay sa kaniya sa pagiging ikapito sa mga pinakabata na makamit ang titulong Grandmaster sa larangan ng ahedres. Bago maging ganap na Grandmaster, siya rin ang naging pinakabatang International Master sa edad na 12 taon at 10 buwan. Ang nakaraang pinakabatang Pilipinong IM ay ang ngayo'y GM Mark Paragua sa edad na 14 taon 8 buwan.
