Tinaga Island

An island about eight kilometres long, one of the two main islands of the Calaguas group. Its draw is Mahabang Buhangin, a long white sand beach, and the name means "long beach".
Backpackers and campers from Manila have made the beach popular. The accounting firm PWC placed the island first in a top ten of up and coming destinations in its Philippines gems report. The island belongs to the town of Vinzons.
