About Camarines Norte
Daet, the capital, claims the first monument in the country to Jose Rizal, raised within a few years of his execution. The province has been Bikol-speaking for as far back as the records go, and it faces the Philippine Sea along the whole northern coast. Labo, not Daet, is the town with the most people in it.
