Island
Alibijaban Island
An island in Ragay Gulf, off the southeast coast of the Bondoc Peninsula, with white sand beaches, mangrove forest and coral reefs. Birdlife here is rich. The island and the water around it form the Alibijaban Protected Landscape and Seascape, 1,056 hectares in all, and 225 hectares of that sea is a fish sanctuary.
The whole island is one barangay of San Andres, home to 1,738 people in 2020. It is the only barangay of that town not on the mainland, so you arrive by boat.
