Talim Island
The largest lake island in Laguna de Bay, the largest lake in the country. The island is volcanic and forms the southwest rim of the Laguna Caldera. Volcanism after the caldera formed cut maars and craters into its southern end, the largest a crater 3 kilometres across that holds the barangays of Balibago and Tuna. Two municipalities split the island between them: Binangonan on the west side and Cardona on the east.
