Cape Bojeador Lighthouse
The lighthouse that marks the northwesternmost point of Luzon, first lit on March 30, 1892 and still in service. The octagonal stone tower is 20 metres tall and stands on Vigia de Nagpartian Hill, above the cape that early galleons sailed past. It still guides ships that come into the archipelago from the north away from the rocky coast.
On a clear day you can see the tower from Pasuquin to the south and Bangui to the east. Of the Spanish era lighthouses in the country, it is the highest-elevated one that is still original and still active. The town of Burgos gives it its other name, Burgos Lighthouse.
