Street
Calle Crisologo
The cobbled street of ancestral houses, closed to cars, best walked early in the morning or after dark. It runs through the Mestizo District and is the best known part of the old town: sett paving, and houses with brick and stone below, wood above, capiz shell windows and steep roofs.
The buildings are still in use. Shops, restaurants and souvenir stores work inside the old structures, and kalesas, the horse-drawn carriages, carry people around the historic district.
