About Bacolod-Kalawi

Bacolod-Kalawi has nothing to do with the Bacolod in Negros. It is a Maranao town on the western side of Lake Lanao, called Bacolod Grande until a 1994 regional law gave it the double name it carries now. Its 26 barangays hold about 24,400 people.
