About Lumbayanague

Lumbayanague handed nine barangays to the new municipality of Sultan Dumalondong in 1995 and kept 22 of its own. About 21,500 people live in them, in the southern half of Lanao del Sur. It was one of three towns that gave up ground to make that new one.
