About Marogong

Marogong is in the southwest of Lanao del Sur, away from the lake, with 24 barangays and about 33,600 people. The town writes its name three ways, in Meranaw, Filipino and Arabic, which is ordinary enough in the Bangsamoro and looks unusual anywhere else.
