About Tugaya
Tugaya makes things: gongs, drums and other instruments, brass and metalware, baskets, woven cloth. It makes enough of them that the province calls the town its industrial capital, and UNESCO lists Tugaya as a home for culture and heritage. About 26,300 people live here on the western shore of Lake Lanao.
