About Datu Odin Sinsuat

Datu Odin Sinsuat is the capital of Maguindanao del Norte, the northern half of the old Maguindanao province. It was called Dinaig until 1994, when a regional autonomy law swapped the place name for the name of a datu. The municipality runs to 34 barangays, more than any other town in the province except Sultan Kudarat.
