About Sultan Kudarat
The municipality of Sultan Kudarat, which is not the province of the same name, was called Nuling until it became the capital of the old Maguindanao in 1977. The provincial board returned to it in 2011, sharing capital duties with Buluan, which kept the executive side. With about 125,000 people it is the largest municipality in Maguindanao del Norte.
