About Maguindanao del Sur
This is the landlocked half of the Maguindanao that split in two in 2022, Maguindanaon speaking and well away from the coast. Its capital is Buluan, out at the Sultan Kudarat border beside the city of Tacurong rather than anywhere near the middle of the province. Rice, corn and the edge of the Liguasan Marsh are most of what the land here does.
