About Datu Abdullah Sangki

Carved out of Ampatuan and ratified by plebiscite on January 3, 2004, Datu Abdullah Sangki is one of the younger municipalities in Maguindanao del Sur. About 35,300 people live in it. Like most of its neighbours it carries the name of a datu rather than a saint or a Spanish town.
