About Guindulungan

Guindulungan was cut out of Talayan in March 2003, and its first appointed mayor, Hadji Datu Midpantao Midtimbang, had already served as mayor of Talayan and as vice governor of Maguindanao. He was known as a religious leader before any of that. About 28,500 people live in the town today.
