About Talayan

Ferdinand Marcos created Talayan by decree in September 1976, out of parts of Datu Piang and Dinaig, the town now called Datu Odin Sinsuat. It has fifteen barangays and about 43,300 people, and it lost some of its own ground in 2003 when Guindulungan was carved off.
