About Tubay

Tubay became a municipality in 1947, assembled out of seven barrios of Cabadbaran, among them La Fraternidad, Tinigbasan, Cabayawa and Tagmamarcay. Cabadbaran has since become a city while Tubay stayed a town, which is the usual end of these splits. It now has thirteen barangays and 26,463 people.
