About Bunawan

In September 2011 Bunawan produced Lolong, the largest crocodile ever taken alive, which did rather more for the town's name than the 1959 law that created it. The animal came out of the marshes that fill this part of Agusan del Sur. About 50,999 people live across the town's ten barangays.
