About Del Carmen

Del Carmen was Numancia until 1966, when it took the name of its patroness, the Virgin of Carmel. It is the Siargao town with Sayak Airport, the island's main one, so most arrivals land here and then leave for somewhere else. Its 20,786 people live in twenty barangays.
