About Marihatag
The festival here is called Balik-Marihatag, which means going back to Marihatag, the balik carrying the sense of a homecoming. The town answered to Oteiza until 1955, a name it later passed on to the neighbor that became San Agustin. About 19,700 people live across its 12 barangays.
