About Tandag City
Tandag lives on rice, corn, coconut and whatever the boats bring in, which is the plain truth about most of this coast. It is the capital of Surigao del Sur all the same, and one of the smallest provincial capitals in the country at around 63,000 people. Bislig, down the same shoreline, is the bigger city.
