About Island Garden City of Samal
Samal is the beach Davao goes to, two kilometres offshore and close enough to count as part of the metro. The Island Garden City covers Samal Island and the smaller Talikud out in Davao Gulf, assembled from three former municipalities: Samal, Babak and Kaputian. Resorts line the shore facing the mainland, and the ferries across run all day.
