Waterfall
The best known of the city's waterfalls, about 24 in all: 98 metres high on the Agus River. A rock at the brink splits the flow into two streams, so it is also called the twin falls. The name comes from the Spanish queen Maria Christina of Austria.
The falls lie 9.3 kilometres southwest of the city, on the boundary of barangays Maria Cristina, Ditucalan and Buru-un. The Agus VI Hydroelectric Plant harnesses the water, and it is the main source of electric power for the city's industries.
