Island
An island in the town of Siasi, in the chain of islands between Mindanao and Borneo. Women here weave colourful mats with intricate designs, and the island is known for them. Most residents live from fishing.
The island is small and crowded: 0.78 square kilometres of land and 12,830 people, in six barangays. About 1 kilometre of water separates it from the island of Siasi.
