About Dimataling

Dimataling was assembled in 1950 out of barrios taken from Pagadian, which was not yet a city, and from Margosatubig. It now has about 33,156 people in 24 barangays, and several of the barrios it started with, Dinas and Tabina among them, went on to become municipalities of their own.
