Sotero Baluyut

Sotero Julao Baluyut, also known as Sotero Baluyot, was a Filipino politician and civil engineer. He served as Governor of Pampanga from 1925 to 1931 and 1938 to 1941, Secretary of Public Works and the Interior and Senator of the Philippines from 1931 to 1935. Due to his role during the Pampanga unrests in the 1930s and early 1940s, he was perceived as one of the "arch enemies" of the peasantry.
