One of the oldest stone churches in the country, rebuilt after the 2013 earthquake, with a small museum. Jesuits founded Baclayon in 1596 as the first Christian settlement in Bohol, and the coral stone church that stands now was finished in 1727. The Augustinian Recollects took over in 1768 and renovated it heavily. The National Historical Commission ran the reconstruction from 2014 to 2018, and the church is both a National Cultural Treasure and a National Historical Landmark.
