Pescador Island
A dive site on a small limestone island in the Tañon Strait, a few kilometres off the west coast of Cebu. The reef starts as a sandy slope with soft coral at 5 to 10 metres, then falls away as a wall of hard coral to about 40 metres.
On the west side is an open-top underwater cave that divers call the Cathedral. Most tours start at the south end and drift with the current along one side of the island. The current pushes in clear water, and visibility often reaches 40 metres. Divers come from the operations at nearby Panagsama. The island has a lighthouse, with access steps on the north and east sides.
