About San Vicente

San Vicente is seven islands and seven barangays, the Naranjo group off Northern Samar, with the town proper on Destacado at the southern end. It broke away from Capul in 1966 and holds 7,308 residents, fewer than any other municipality in the province. Cebuano is spoken here alongside Waray.
