About Pinabacdao
Every 10 May, Pinabacdao dances the Mayaw-Mayaw Festival, which took second runner-up for its dance and first prize for its float at the 2015 Aliwan Fiesta in Manila. The rest of the year the town does quieter work: it is counted as the rice-producing centre of Samar, with 18,639 people.
