Church
A Catholic church inside the residential complex of the Victorias Milling Company, known as the Angry Christ Church after its altar painting, which Alfonso Ossorio painted in strong colours. It counts as the first modern sacred building in the country and was declared an Important Cultural Property in December 2015.
The Czech-American architect Antonín Raymond designed it in two parts, a nave and a tower, joined by movable beams so that it holds up in an earthquake. He also opened the building up so that air moves through it in the hot, humid weather.
