About Zamboanguita

Zamboanguita was established in 1866 and has stayed small since: 30,412 people in ten barangays, about as few divisions as a Negros Oriental town gets. The name reads as a little Zamboanga, though the city it echoes is several hundred kilometres away in Mindanao.
