Buko pie is what Bagabag is known for around the Cagayan Valley, and the town grows more pineapple than anywhere else in Nueva Vizcaya. Rice, corn, coconut and mango come off the same ground. The road up to the Banaue rice terraces runs through here, which is how a lot of people first come across it.
