About Sto. Tomas City

Santo Tomas keeps the feast of Saint Thomas Aquinas every March 7, the saint the Spanish named it for. It is also where Miguel Malvar came from, the general who held out longest against the Americans and the last Filipino commander to surrender. The city sits at the Batangas end of the road down from Manila.
