Pagsanjan Falls

no rating yet ♥ 33

A three-drop waterfall, reached by a river trip on a dugout canoe that is known locally as "Shooting the Rapids". The trip starts at Pagsanjan, the town where the Balanac River and the Bumbungan River meet. That boat ride has drawn visitors since the Spanish colonial period, and the oldest written account of it dates to 1894.

A short hike from Cavinti reaches the falls from the top instead. The falls also go by Cavinti Falls and by the local name Magdapio Falls.
