Ruins
The submerged remains of the old town of Pantabangan, which was flooded on purpose in the 1970s to fill the reservoir behind Pantabangan Dam. The settlement was established in 1645 and stood for nearly 300 years before it went under. The reservoir that covers it now supplies irrigation water and hydroelectric power.
