Mount Arayat
A single mountain that rises 1,026 metres out of the flat farmland of Pampanga, with no range around it. The southern half belongs to the town of Arayat, and the northern half and the summit belong to Magalang. Angeles City and the former Clark Air Base are 10 kilometres to the west.
It was declared a national park in 1933 and a tourist spot in 1997. The northwest side holds a crater broken open by collapse, with a smaller lava dome inside it, and weak steam still rises from eroded vents near the summit. The forest on the mountain is under heavy threat from clearing.
