Marikina River Park
A chain of parks, trails and sports grounds along an 11-kilometre stretch of the Marikina River, 220 hectares in all. It runs through seven villages on the west side of the city and holds the Riverbanks Center, a mall and office complex, and the largest roller skating rink in the country.
People come to camp, jog and cycle, from Marikina and from other cities in the region. The city Christmas festival, which starts in October and runs to February, fills the park and the Riverbanks Center with stalls.
