About Cabadbaran City
Cabadbaran keeps its Spanish period houses standing, which is rarer in Mindanao than it ought to be, and its archaeological collections go back a good deal further than the houses do. Founded in 1894, it grew into the leading town of Agusan del Norte. It is still the de jure capital, though the province does its business in Butuan next door.
