About San Francisco

The Agusan Marsh Wildlife Sanctuary is reached through San Francisco, by way of the barangays Caimpugan and New Visayas. The town is also the trading centre of Agusan del Sur without being its capital, and in 2013 the National Competitiveness Council rated it the most competitive municipality in the country out of 163 first class towns. Its 79,718 people live in 27 barangays.
