White Island
An uninhabited sandbar of white sand, 1.4 kilometres off the northern shore of Mambajao. It is roughly horseshoe shaped, but the tides keep changing its size and its form.
There are no trees and no shelter of any kind on it. The bar is sand and nothing else. Small boats out to it are hired from the beachfront resorts that face the island, at Barangay Agoho or Barangay Yumbing, 4 to 6 kilometres west of the town centre.
