About Balingasag
Balingasag has a run of colonial buildings with indigenous Mindanaoan elements worked into them, and enough of them survive that there is a push to get the town onto the UNESCO World Heritage List. Whether that comes off or not, it is one of the largest municipalities in Misamis Oriental, with about 76,900 people.
