About Gingoog City

Gingoog is written with a G and pronounced with an H, hee-ngu-og, a Binukid word fitted into Spanish spelling and never fitted back. Names like that are the clearest record left of who was living here before the friars arrived. The city holds about 139,000 people on the eastern side of Misamis Oriental.
