Isabela Cathedral
A 20th-century Roman Catholic cathedral, dedicated to Saint Elizabeth of Portugal and also called Santa Isabel Cathedral. It stands in Barangay Seaside Poblacion and is the seat of the Territorial Prelature of Isabela.
A fire destroyed the old wooden church in 1962. The present building replaced it and was consecrated in June 1970. It covers 1,100 square metres. Brise soleil screens the facade, with stained glass at the upper centre and along the side walls. Behind the altar is a large mosaic of Christ with six apostles on each side, imported from Italy.
